Halifax marked the first time split-fleet racing has been used across a full weekend, the only other outings being practice racing and the Sunday of Auckland this season. So when the fleet of 13 was carved into groups of six and seven, the seeding fell in a way that left one half far heavier than the other. It has me wondering whether SailGP would consider recompiling the groups mid race-window.
